Module 5 – WATERINTAKE 

Description:

This is beautiful hike through the low hills and rural area north of Matunkha to find the actual source of the water you drink at Matunkha. It is located at a picturesque place with brachystechia trees and small waterfalls.

A guide will go with you and answer all questions you raise during the hike.

The hike can be done with a GPS only (without a guide) if you prefer that.

At the small river you enjoy a packed lunch and can cool down your feet, or more, in the water.

After a rest you can walk for about 2 kms to be picked up by a vehicle or you can choose to hike back to Matunkha.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Timeframe:

The activity can start anytime

The walk takes between 2 and 4 hours.

 

 

Costs:

The cost for this module is € 15.00 per person, if hiking to and from the river.

If you would like to be collected, you have to add another € 5.00 per person.

 

There is a discount of € 3.00 on the accommodation price for that day, as explained on the first page.
