Module 9 – LAKE MALAWI

 

Description:

What is a visit to Malawi without seeing this famous fresh water lake?

Lake Malawi, known locally as Lake Nyasa, is the third largest on in Africa and the eighth largest lake in the world. This lake is also the second deepest lake in Africa with a great visibility of up to 21 meters.

It has more species of fish than any other lake in the world.

 

 

Not only that, Lake Malawi has as well beautiful beaches and very friendly people.

So if you have just a day to see it, do so with this module.

On either way, coming or going, we can visit a hot spring and an old monkey bridge.

 

 

 

 

Timeframe:

At 08.00 we will collect you from the restaurant for a trip of just over an hour to Chitimba, were you can enjoy the sun and water on a private beach. A packed lunch will be provided.

We have to leave around 16.00 hrs, to return to Matunkha before dark.

 

 

Costs:

The cost for this module is as follows:

For 2 persons: € 95 per person

For 3 persons: € 70 per person

For 4 persons: € 55 per person

For 5 persons: € 45 per person

 

There is a discount of € 3.00 on the accommodation price for that night, as explained on the first page.
